Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure

$295 - Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, Orcas Island, Lopez Island

$325 departing Saturdays and Sundays

For a flight training dinner / lunch adventure!

Is this course for me?

The Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure is designed for those seeking more than just your typical introductory flight. On this flight you and up to two others will have the opportunity to experience the advantages that many licensed pilots enjoy... the ability to quickly cruise up to the San Juan Islands for a romantic dinner or to take a short flight over to Bremerton's Airport Dinner for what pilots refer to as the "$100 Hamburger".

If you are looking for a fantastic evening out and have always wondered what it's like to fly an airplane, the Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure is a great way to combine the two into a wonderful adventure!

What should I expect?

The Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure allows persons to receive basic flight instruction in straight-and-level flight, turns, climbs and descents. Customers will learn about navigation, radio communications and takeoff and landing techniques.

As you learn the basics of flight, don't forget to check out the view from the Archer's large viewing windows! This is a great time to make a few slow circles around the islands, turn back to see a whale or explore whatever you desire. It's a great time to take a few pictures as well!

Once you reach your chosen destination airport, you will be transported to one of several outstanding restaurants for a "flight training break".

The Puget Sound region has many wonderful areas to explore by air. You may choose from several destinations for your Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure, including the picturesque San Juan Islands. Visit Friday Harbor, the largest town in the San Juans, where you are just a short cab ride away form its many fine restaurants. Or land in Roche Harbor, a romantic getaway nestled in the Northwest corner of the San Juans, where you can take a short walk to the marina and the Madrona Grill.

Depending on how you schedule your Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure, you may even have time go for a hike on the hills around Roche Harbor, go kayaking or bicycling, explore many of the quaint shops of Friday Harbor or just sit back, relax and take in the view.

Back at the airplane after your "flight training break", if you choose, you may switch seats and have another person experience the excitement of piloting an aircraft.

Seattle Flight is happy to recommend several restaurants for its Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure. However, you may certainly choose another restaurant. Also, many customers may want to add special touches such as having limousine service to and from the airport at Boeing Field. If you have a special request or any questions about our Dinner Getaway Flight Training Adventure, feel free to give us a call.
