In today's flight training environment, aircraft simulators are
a vital part of the learning experience. Simulators are not used just to reduce
the cost of training, but are highly effective in teaching procedural items and
replicating emergencies.
With aircraft simulators, you may practice for emergencies to
risky to simulate in actual flight. In addition, simulators add realism to your
flight training. Don't just cover up the gyros and fly partial panel... but
watch as the gyros slowly drift as they slow down, rolling upside down or
tumbling.
For procedural training you may progress step-by-step, learning
how to do things correctly the first time without the rushed hurriedness of
actually being in the aircraft. If you make an error, pause the simulator and
let the instructor help you learn from your mistakes. Don't practice
imperfection, but practice procedures the correct way from the start. Practice
doesn't make perfect, but perfect practice makes perfect.
Whether you would like an instrument proficiency check, to
improve your multi-engine procedures, to add an instrument rating to your
certificate or to just get some more experience in a particular area, Seattle
Flight instructors are ready to meet your needs. We utilize some of the finest
general aviation flight simulators available in the Northwest, operated by the
Aviation
Training Center at Seattle's Boeing Field. Frasca 141 and 142 Flight
