Seattle Scenic Flight Availability

The Northwest's only 5-star scenic flight experience

Seattle Scenic Flight services are available 24 hours per day, every day of the year.

Drop-ins are welcome, however it is advisable to phone ahead to ensure that an aircraft and pilot are ready to go. In addition, it gives us a chance to prepare for your arrival and to ensure that you receive the 5-star service and attention to detail that Seattle Scenic Flight is known for.

During Scenic Flight Days events, customers are welcome to show up at the Flight Center FBO located at Boeing Field. Short rides around the downtown area will be conducted in a barnstorming atmosphere.

Occasionally, our aircraft may be operating out of other locations. Check the back on our website for details or give us a call at: +1 206.767.5234

Weather and Scenic Flights

The lush greenery of the Pacific Northwest is due to the higher volume of rain that the area receives. Typically, this is a light, misty drizzle with layered clouds beginning around 2,500 to 3,500 feet. There are also many beautiful sunny days in the Northwest, even in the winter. The summer months are especially delightful, with the weather in August and September being some of the mildest and most enjoyable anywhere in the world.

Seattle Scenic Flight is able to conduct operations most of the year, providing customers with spectacular views even during times of light drizzle.

However, for the satisfaction of our customers we will not conduct scenic flights when the weather is poor. High winds (25 to 30 knots), heavy rain, low clouds (ceiling less than 1,500 feet) and poor visibility (less than 5 statute miles) will result in a cancellation of scenic flight operations.
